Project Goals
Create a catalog showcasing all ARETE equipment
Include all technical details for each products
Must be small and light weight to minimize any friction with sales team when visiting clients’ practices
Highlight selling points of each product
Challenges
Limited access to high resolution product images
Minimal brand guidelines established for ARETE as it was a fairly new line
Introducing ARETE as a new elevated private label line under Burkhart Dental Supply
Design Process
Establishing chapters through organizing data by product category
Curating icons to represent each category’s selling points
Creating line illustrations for each chapter since we lacked access to larger product images
Designed initial chapter then got approval to move forward using established layout as a template for other chapters
Collaborated with equipment department to ensure content accuracy
Custom Product Illustrations




Production
Responsible for creating print-ready production files and working with a local printing company
Attended a press-check to ensure color consistency and review paper choices
Final Product
8 x 10 catalog, 45 pages long
Includes fabric swatches for stool upholstery, safety/cleaning instructions, and bundle discount promotions
Using custom line illustrations & icons to highlight product selling points as solution for lack of access to print-quality images
